Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ltd. is a Chinese multinational banking company, and the largest bank in the world by total assets and by market capitalization. It is one of China’s ‘Big Four’ state-owned commercial banks. Backlash from the financial crisis hasn’t put a dent in the world’s largest banks, which combined have eye-popping assets of about $25.5 trillion.
